About me:

My name is Harshdeep Singh (a.k.a Bunny), the creator of this hack. I'm a big fan of Pokemon games, especially of Generation 3 games. After I played all the Pokemon Gen 3 games, I started playing their hacks too. I was amazed to see the talent of hackers who made such
great hacks like Ruby destiny series, rijon adventures, etc. I'm a student of computer
engineering. I thought if I use my coding skills and a little creativity and imagination, I can
also create a hack.  I don't have much knowlege of hex coding or rom hacking. I made this
hack using my own brain and with the help of online tutorials. I have spent months making this and I think I have now a good one. Please be open minded while playing this game, keeping in mind that it's a hack and can't compare to real games.

About the hack:

This hack is for Pokemon FireRed (English) rom. This is a complete, fan-made, free-to-play

hack which will provide the pokemon fans with a brand new pokemon adventure.

Some important points:
1. This hack is solely created by me, Harshdeep (a.k.a Bunny). There was neither any one
else involved in the making of this hack, nor anyone for whom this hack was made.
It's my property so don't try claim any ownership or partnership of this hack.

2. "Pokemon", the original Pokemon FireRed and other related things are the property of
their respective owners. Only the modification made on the original game is mine.

3. This hack is totally FREE for download. It is not intented to be sold in any form.

Please don't buy it!  Don't do any survey or download some stuff for getting this hack!

4. This hack was made just for fun and not to gain any benefit. I was intended provide
pokemon gaming fans a new fan-made pokemon adventure and to pay tribute to the original
Pokemon FireRed game.

5. This hack is free to play. But you are not allowed to edit it and release it. It's better to make
your own hack from scratch.

6. You cannot make any changes to my hack but you can distribute to others via your websites, blog, threads or in forums. However, it should be distributed for free, not for

any money or for downloading some software or doing some survey, etc. Moreover, you
cannot claim any ownership over the hack.

Introduction:

Welcome to a all new region of Azurus which a great adventure with pokemon awaits you.

Travel across the land filled with numerous pokemon from the first three generations. Catch

pokemon and battle your way through eight Gyms to reach your goal to become the Pokemon

Champion. But the path ahead is not easy. The region is speculating about a strange meteor

seen few weeks ago while havoc is raised in the region by a gang of pokemon criminals

TEAM METEOR whose leader aims at winning over the world. Will you face all odds and prove

yourself the greatest Pokemon Master. Play Pokemon Galacta right now!!!!

Features of the hack: (Updated: 18/08/2014)

1. The most important feature is that this hack is COMPLETE. It's not a beta, alpha or any

version. You can win all badges, then battle elite four and catch legendaries.

2. A brand new storyline in a new region of Azurus, with new towns, routes and characters!

3. More than 250 pokemon from first three generations (About 250-300!)

4. New evil gang TEAM METEOR who aims at winning over the world.

5. New Gyms and Elite Four!

6. Starter Pokemon: Seel (Water), Slugma(Fire), Cacnea(Grass)

7. The original starters of all the three generations, and baby pokemon can be caught!

8. A harder game with Gym leaders and Elite Four at higher level than original game.

9. The level of wild pokemon and trainers will increase smoothly as you progress through

the game.

10. Legendary Pokemons:
Main legendary- Deoxys
Other legendaries- Latios, Latias, Mew, Celebi and Jirachi

11. All original TMs, Move tutors and almost all items are made available in the game.

12. Items like Sun stone, Moon stone, some berries and even Ether can be bought.

13. Every Pokemart sells an item that is exclusive to itself.

14. Lots of pokemon of all the types are available in the beginning of game to provide
players with ample choice of pokemon to catch, to begin journey with.

15. Along with Magikarp, Old Rod can catch some other pokemon too!

16. Day care center (where you can breed pokemon) is available earlier than original game.

How to Play this game (IMPORTANT!):

1. If you wanna play this game right, you need to talk to everyone you see, read every
signpost and check anything that looks interesting. When you battle trainers, talk to them again too. By doing all this, you will get all needed info what to do and where to go next.

2. Though I have checked this hack and it's pretty OK, but still it's a hack, so bugs and
problems may occur anytime. So save your game frequently, save states and keep backup.

3. If you try to use any cheats and devices, I'm not responsible for what will happen to your

game. Better don't do it or better keep backup.

Updates:
I updated the hack in which I corrected some big problems and bugs:

Update 1: 24/07/2014 modifications and corrections:

1.) It was not possible to fly to Greenaroma or Riverside city due to some scripting problem

in the original hack. It was corrected in this update.

2.) Correction of some minor things like ledges, signboards, etc.

Update 2: 18/08/2014 modifications and corrections:

1.) Some warps in Meteor building were problematic so they were removed without

affecting the gameplay.

2.) Now a person on 3F of Meteor Building will teach THUNDER WAVE, not the previous
yellow-haired guy on 2F (as it was causing problems).

3.) TM PSYCHIC, which was not available earlier in game, is made available in Meteor

Building.

4.) The secret pond of Fossil pokemon in Infinity Cave, is now SURF-able. You can catch

Aerodactyl by surfing there.

5.) Some minor corrections in signs, sprites, etc.

Some Drawbacks (Updated: 18/08/2014):

I made this hack and to be honest, there are few drawbacks:

1. Though changes are made in all towns and routes, the graphics and tiles are the same
as of the original game. Thus, some may resemble the original game.

2. The arrangement of routes is changed but not much.

3. Town and Route music is changed but not much.

4. The "Pikachu" and "Prof. Oak" intro is not changed.

5. The View of World Map is same as the original game.

6. Fakemons (New unreal Pokemon) and "fake" pokemon of higher generations are not
included.

7. Pokemon species in which there is any evolution using trade is not included.

8. The second floor of PokeCentre is not accessible so multiplayer battling, trade, etc
is not possible.

9. The location of some pokemon as given in Pokedex may be wrong.

Problems and bugs with their solutions (Updated: 25/08/2014):

This is a hack so problems and bugs are bound to arise. I discovered some small problems

which are listed below with their solutions. The problems which don't have a solution will
be corrected in the Updates I release. If you have encountered some problem

not mentioned here, then post the problem in the forums or email me (See Conclusion):

1. The starting intro for the game and story is not available as the "Pikachu" and

"Prof. Oak" intro couldn't be changed.

Solution: There is a posted message near the stairs in your room which gives you the

real starting intro for the story in the hack.

2. The game may hang at certain places at certain times (like the game may hang when

you talk to nurse at PokeCenter).

Solution: Load the previously saved game (or the previously saved state), move about

a bit and then save again properly (here, I don't mean save states but the actual save

which comes in the START menu). Then reset the game and load this saved game.

This method works well if you save near the problematic area (like if the problem is

in PokeCenter, save outside it.)

3. The town map (or World map) shows that after Route 19, there is Route 20 which has

Rigid Island and then at the end is Valor Island. This is the wrong sequence.

Solution: The actual sequence is after Route 19, there is Rigid Island, then Valor Island

and then Route 20.

4. It is not possible to FLY to or from Rigid Island.

Solution: You can easily FLY to or from Valor Island which is very close to Rigid island.

5. In the Meteor Building in Corio City, if you use lift to go to 10F or 11F, the game will

restart.

Solution: The lift works only till 9F. 10F can be accessed by stairs on 9F or the warp panel
on 3F. 11F is actually not present so don't try to go there.

6. When you talk to Prof. Freak in the old lab on Route 25, the message is missing.

Solution: The missing message is:

"I and my team used to research on Ghost pokemon in this lab. But due to financial
problems, we had to close the research and the lab."

7. The game may slow down sometimes.

Solution: This is not a big problem. The game will automatically speed up again. You

can try to move about a bit, or move in or out of some door. Other way is to save the game
and reload.

8. At certain places, you may see someone like you. The game hangs on interacting with it.

Solution: Simple- Don't talk to him/her or go near him/her.

9. At a few places, it might be possible that if you open any menu (like Bag, Pokemon, etc)

and then close it (or you start a battle and then it ends), you may be controlling some other character or may be a duplicate character of yours, which can't move much.

Solution: At those places, don't battle or open any menu. Atleast, don't do so with that
person (which you start controlling as the menu closes or battle ends) on the screen.

10. The boulder on the "Paradise Garden" island on Route 20 can be moved by STRENGTH to
get in, but it will block your way while getting out.

Solution: Whenever you go there, keep a pokemon which can FLY. Use FLY to get out of
the island.

This game has many features but some drawbacks and bugs too. The bugs can be solved

by the solution I gave and if you are patient enough to ignore the other drawbacks,

I assure you that you will enjoy this hack very much.
