Hey everyone! Okay, so it's been about a year since the last time I posted about my Ruby hack here, so I'm gonna go ahead and assume that everyone has forgotten about it, or that a lot of you don't know what I'm talking about.
Here is a link to the last time I posted here.
Anyway, for those of you who don't know, this is a hack I've been working on for what feels like forever by now. Started out a few years ago, drawing up some sketches for some crappy Fakemon, somehow ended up drawing them in MS Paint, learned how to implement them in a Pokémon game. And then my spriting skills just slowly developed over time.
The hack itself is just Pokémon Ruby. The region, the story, everything like that is still Pokémon Ruby. The main feature of this hack is the 177 original Fakemon implemented. There isn't a single encounter with any real Pokémon. I owe you a beer, if you find one!
Here is a gallery showcasing a few of the sprites and showing a bit of what I've changed since last time.
Aside from the Fakemon in the hack, a few other things have been changed, as well. There are a few more evolution stones, and I've made some changes to a few moves. Replaced Cut with a move called Razor Chop, replaced Explosion with Metal Blast and Spark with Volt Whip. Other than that, the changes mainly include upping the base power of moves like Outrage and Petal Dance.
Since last time, I've also started working on an online Pokédex, which you can find here. It's a bit unfinished at this point, but I'm working on it. And it's obviously sort of Bulbapedia-inspired, but I lack the skill to make the layout look Bulbapedia-style cool. So it looks like this, but it includes the things you'll need to know. And a few things you probably don't.
(EDIT: The egg moves listed in the wiki might not be entirely true to this release - I'm editing them, as I create the pages on the wiki.)

I probably won't be putting out a new release anytime soon. I know I've stated before that I wanted to create a complete hack with a new region and an original storyline, but it's not gonna happen in the near future. I do have some plans for the next release, though - a few ideas for new Fakemon I want to add. And maybe something more. But we'll see - for now, enjoy! And please let me know what you think! :)
TL;DR: Do you love playing Pokémon Ruby, but you want to play it with a bunch of Fakemon? This is the hack for you! (Seriously though, I know it's a wall of text, but read it if you have the time, yeah?)
